Our Programs, Sponsored Organizations & Partners:

LPCF runs a few programs.  We also sponsor a few organizations, in line with our mission to build community.

  • Theatre In The Mountains is a program of LPCF.  Dedicated to providing theatrical opportunities for children and adults throughout the year. Main stage performances are held in the Loma Prieta Community Center, which is transformed into a beautiful theatre space, complete with 20′ curtains surrounding the house, risers for audience viewing, lobby, and concession areas. There is also an outdoor amphitheater that provides opportunities to do other performances in the summertime.  More info is at the TIM website.
  • Building Blocks Cooperative Preschool is now a program of LPCF.    Building Blocks is a high quality, affordable, parent-cooperative preschool established by and for the mountain community.   In our school, children learn through discovery and child-directed play. We believe that an atmosphere of mutual respect encourages our children to develop emotionally and learn successfully.  More info is at http://www.buildingblockscoop.org

  • Map Your Neighborhood – a program designed to help neighborhoods prepare for disasters and is offered in the Loma Prieta Summit Area via a collaboration of Summit CERT, Loma Prieta Fire and Rescue, the Loma Prieta Community Foundation, and the help of volunteers in our community.
  • Mountain Historical Museum – new organization dedicated to preserving the history of our beautiful mountains.
  • GoGreen / 95033Free
  • Rockin In the Mountains – Joe Sharino charity concert held annually in the Loma Prieta Community Center
