Plan to attend the 15th Mountain Residents Night Out (MRNO) on Tuesday, August 4th, 6-8:30 pm, at the Redwood Estates Pavilion, 21450 Madrone Rd. The event is hosted by the Loma Prieta Community Foundation (LPCF) and the Redwood Estates Services Association (RESA). Admission is free.
MRNO is our local version of National Night Out, a nationwide event that promotes community security and safety. Meet with staff from public safety agencies like the Sheriff Departments, CHP, and fire departments. Every year they bring interesting specialty vehicles and equipment for you to check out. Also meet with volunteers from local volunteer organizations, like CERT, MERC-Red Cross, and Amateur Radio Emergency Services, to find out what they do and how to join. Most of all, enjoy a pleasant evening with other mountain residents.
Several prizes, store gift cards and first aid kits, will be raffled during the evening. Raffle tickets are free and are limited to one per person.
Nonno’s Restaurant in Redwood Estates will serve a barbeque dinner for $5 a person. The menu will be posted a few days by July 31st. Tickets can be purchased at the event or before at Nonno’s Restaurant. A big thank you to Nonno’s for providing a low cost dinner for fifteen years.
